    Southern Author Series

    Join us for our annual major fundraiser featuring authors, Rose Tomlin and Virginia Beach joined by Coy Johnston.  Reserve two dates in February for the best literary bargain in town.  Consecutive Sundays at 3PM, February 9th and 16th. Tickets are only $50 for both events.  Call or stop by the Timrod to reserve tickets.  See Calendar Events page for program details.

    Children's Story Hour

    All ages are welcome to this monthly event. Story-telling, crafts, snacks and more. Generally held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10:30 – call to confirm dates.

    Book Fair

    Each fall the Timrod offers a huge selection of high-quality books at bargain-basement prices. Also includes Lowcountry luncheon, bake sale and casserole sale, raffle, silent auction, and tag sale.

    Storytime

    10:30 AM, Timrod's own "resident storyteller", Tim Lowry, presents his first performance of 2014 in a concert series titled "Post Cards from the Sweet Tea Trail".  This presentation features the story of Dr. Henry Woodward, Indian Agent of the Carolina Colony in 1670 along with stories from Cherokee folklore, and much more.  The performance is for adult listeners and is ninety minutes in length and includes light refreshments.  Tickets are $15 and advance purchase is strongly recommended as seating is limited.  To purchase tickets visit www.StorytellerTimLowry.com
