Fall Fest & Book Donations

As we prepare for our Fall Fest Book Sale on November 6, we will NOT be accepting Book donations until January 2022. Thank you for all the donations these past two years. 

​Join us on the beautiful grounds of the Timrod Library on Saturday, November 6 for the 2021 Fall Festival, a celebration of books, food, family, and fun! 

Running from 9:30 am til 2:00 pm, the Fall Fest will feature our BIG BOOK SALE, an opportunity for visitors to take advantage of great deals on hundreds of books, including fiction, nonfiction, special interest, and children’s literature.  While our annual luncheon is not being offered this year, lots of delicious food choices will still be available.  Our celebrated casserole and bake sales make it simple to fill up your freezer with delightful dishes ready for the holidays. 

​The Hanahan Sweetgrass Basket Weavers, a perennial festival favorite, will also be on hand, offering their charming baskets for sale.  Additionally, Mother Goose has plans to attend and is busy planning free activities for the kids.  And we haven’t forgotten that adults like games, too: Take a chance on our 50/50 raffle and support the historic Timrod – a Summerville treasure.
